I now have the general format for my table of contents, but now I have to plan our how I am going to make my table of contents. First I have to take into account the colors I used for my masthead, slogan, and sweet spot because I plan on using the same colors in my table of contents. Since, my masthead and slogan colors were red, I decided to also make the slogan and title red. As for the rectangle, I made it green because my sweet spot was green. This helps connect my title page to my table of contents and make my magazine looked planned out and organized. Now that I had that out of the way, I had to plan out the pictures and article titles and page numbers I am going to put. Today I am going to focus on my article titles and pages because I am going to base my photos off my articles.

For my articles in the table of contents, I am going to have both my articles and page numbers in bold. However, I will not have any descriptions under or next to them. This is because I am going to put the descriptions next to the pictures I will later talk about in a non-bold format. I plan on coming up with eight to ten article titles, which includes the pictures. My articles have to mainly deal with teen fashion, but also incorporate something about the environment into it. It look time to come up with my article titles, but eventually I created the following:

After looking at popular teen magazines I decided to look at popular environmental magazines to help incorporate both genres into my magazine cover's edition. Here are some covers I found... One common theme among environmental magazines talking specifically about environmental issues is that the anchorage is often really intense. The model is often staring at or away the reader with a serious, almost concerning look on their face. The model's expression often ties into the headline and strap line to deliver the idea that the content it very serious and dangerous. The colors that are used the most in the magazines i saw were green, blue and red. The greens and blues often represent the colors of the environment, and the reds are used to grab the readers attention in puffs, masthead, and headlines and to represent danger.

After finishing my format, I needed to know what I'm going to specifically write my article about. I already established the idea that it will be about fast fashion and it's popularity with teens, but that's about it. However, after deep thought, I came up with the perfect idea. Going way back to when I was conducting the photo shoot with Alexa, I chose her because she cared about the environment and I thought she would've been a good role model to my teen audience. With that being said, it would be hard to show that she is a role model without my audience knowing about her. In order to do so, I decided that my main article is going to be about Alexa and her shopping habits. To get this information, I am going come up with questions to ask her in an interview. I then plan on explaining in my article the good habits she has and the one's she needs to improve on and why each is important to help the audience understand why they need to adopt such habits.

After deciding on our magazine title, we needed to chose a common house style to represent our magazine. My group mates decided to mess around with the fonts and colors on an app called PicsArt and produced example cover pages to show what the house style would look like on it. Personally, I liked the color red as the main color in our title because it grabs the reader's attention. It would also go good with my specific magazine because my magazine will talk about the environmental impact of teen fashion, which will hopefully incorporate the color of green. I feel that the green and red will go good together. However, I feel that the font seems a bit tacky because of how curvy and fat it is. I think that we should choose a font that's more bold and sharp because it's more likely to draw attention from a potential buyer to our magazine. Additionally, I would prefer that the font is just red, rather than it being red and black. It again seems too tacky. I expressed t...
